Description: This policy outlines the legal, regulatory, and documentation criteria required for entities and individuals who want to register and sell products on the Fzokart marketplace.
Sellers must verify their identity annually or whenever requested. Any change in tax status, bank routing, or company legal registration must be submitted to our merchant compliance panel within 7 business days of change.
Description: Standard procedures for catalog entries, product detail pages, search tags, titles, and descriptions.
All product details must comply with the Legal Metrology Act and Consumer Protection rules. Descriptions must not convey misleading statements or make unapproved medical/health claims.
Description: Media standards required for product showcases to guarantee a premium and consistent shopping interface.
Image uploads must accurately represent the product size, color tone, and physical characteristics. Blurry, low-quality, or misleading renders will lead to suppression of search visibility.
Description: Guidelines outlining prohibited, banned, or regulated goods that are restricted from sale or require explicit platform pre-approvals.
Any violation will trigger immediate removal of listing, loss of selling rights, and potential reporting to public safety and law enforcement agencies.
Description: Outlines our commitment to national safety guidelines, Information Technology acts, and trade regulations under state jurisdiction.
Fzokart reserves the right to hand over listing records, seller registration logs, and inventory data to state law enforcement, intelligence agencies, or court investigators without informing the seller.
Description: Zero-tolerance guidelines concerning copyright infringement, trade secrets, patents, and counterfeit product listings.
Infringing listings will be deleted upon receipt of a valid complaint. Multiple infractions will trigger permanent ban, forfeiture of payouts, and legal liability.
Description: Standards of integrity, ethics, and communications required from all Fzokart merchants.
All communication channels are logged and reviewed. Violation of behavioral codes will trigger immediate penalties.
Description: Operational requirements regarding packing security, package quality, and dispatch timelines.
High cancellation rates or delayed shipping metrics will degrade merchant rating scores, trigger fee adjustments, or lead to catalog suspension.
Description: Handles buyer return requests, processing, return logs, refund credits, and order cancellation parameters.
Sellers must maintain a returns dispute log. Fraudulent return claims by buyers must be submitted with unboxing videos/photos within 72 hours through the seller ticket panel for verification.
Description: Details fee structures, commissions, tax collections (TDS/TCS), and payout distribution schedules.
Payouts are settled on a rolling T+7 days schedule (T+3 for premium merchants) from order delivery date, after deducting platform commission, shipping charges, TDS (1%), and TCS (1%).
Description: Legal requirements to secure, protect, and isolate customer personal information in accordance with privacy laws.
Compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 is mandatory. Non-compliance is a serious legal violation and will lead to legal actions.
Description: Explains how Fzokart reviews, identifies, tracks, and flags merchant violations.
Violations are graded as Minor (warnings), Major (listing deletion, strikes), or Critical (immediate deactivation). Striking out 5 times in 6 months results in permanent banning.
Description: Details platform sanctions, financial fines, account suspensions, and the legal appeals structure.
Appeals are evaluated by Fzokart's Merchant Board within 7 business days. Suspended accounts may have funds withheld for up to 90 days to settle pending return/refund requirements.
Description: Anti-collusion, anti-monopoly, and fair play requirements ensuring a healthy marketplace.
Sellers found guilty of market manipulation will face permanent account deletion and reporting to the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
Description: Mechanism for policy changes, seller notifications, and deemed consent conditions.
Critical updates will be notified 7 to 14 days in advance. Continued portal activity after updates become active represents legal binding acceptance.
